SING WITH US!
I COLORI DELL'OPERA accepts auditions twice a year for professional musicians and once a year for our Squillo Summer Vocal Institute- a young artist training program for young and beginning Houston based students of opera and classical music.
General Audition Requirements for Professionals: 2-3 Contrasting arias in any languages, at least one from 20th or 21st century is preferred. Resume or CV that shows education, training and experience in the opera field. Optional; include a headshot and bio. Audition announcements will be made on social media and on the website.
Squillo Summer Vocal Institute Application Requirements: 2 Contrasting arias in any language. A Resume that includes current training, university/highschool/college, private lesson instuctor. A statement that expresses what your current plans are in the music field as a singer and how a training program like Squillo Summer Vocal Institute will help you achieve your goals. A recommendation from your choir director or voice teacher. Auditions will be posted in December with a due date in early February for all application materials.
